Senior UX Designer - design systems (Seattle, WA)

Cedar Maple Community Partners is a nonprofit in Seattle supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Design for tasks around volunteer shifts that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in volunteer shifts. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
