Senior UX Designer - design systems (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Vista Community Partners and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Seattle. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
