Senior UX Designer - design systems (Seattle, WA)

Redstone Willow Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in school calendars. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
