Senior UX Designer - design systems (Seattle, WA)

Highbridge Haven Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Seattle. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on design systems. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Seattle. • We reply to every applicant.
