Senior UX Designer - design systems (Seattle, WA)

We are growing our team at Amberfield North Markets and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Seattle, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
