Senior UX Designer - design systems (San Diego, CA)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Beacon Markets Partners and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in store inventory. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in San Diego. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
