Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Summit Haven Learning Group is an education provider in Seattle serving students and families. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around learning materials that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in learning materials. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
