Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Cedar Drift Health is a healthcare provider in Anchorage with clinics and support teams, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around insurance authorisations that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in insurance authorisations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
