Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Summit Mill Banking Services and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in account openings. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
