Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Redstone Wren Transit Planning Partners plans bus and rail service for cities around Pittsburgh, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around route schedules that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in route schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
