Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Ironwood Wilder Medical Group builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Fort Worth, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in training materials. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fort Worth. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
