Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Fernwood Bright Markets is a Fresno retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around shrink and waste that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in shrink and waste. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
