Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Cedar Clear Banking Services is a regional lender in Rochester with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around account openings that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in account openings. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
