Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Cedar North Early Learning Partners is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
