Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Bright North Insurance Group is an insurance company in Cleveland with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 421 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in premium billing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
