Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Fernwood Mill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Fort Worth design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around survey data that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in survey data. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
