Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Harborlight Thistle Early Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around classroom supplies that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in classroom supplies. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tucson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
