Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Ironwood Summit Medical designs and makes medical devices in Savannah, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 109 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in complaint handling. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
