Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Harborlight Cedar Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Colorado Springs serving households and small businesses, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in deposit accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
