Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Stonegate Cobalt Markets is a Rochester retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in promotions. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
