Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Nova Vista Financial Group provides savings, lending and payment services from Detroit, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. Career paths are clear. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in regulatory reports. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
