Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Bright Ridge Insurance Associates is an insurance company in Grand Rapids with claims and service teams, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 713 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around underwriting files that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in underwriting files. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
