Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Bright Vista Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Fresno plant. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 881 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Design for tasks around press runs that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in press runs. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
