Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Nova Sparrow Transit Planning and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
