Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Stonegate Loom Insurance is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for catastrophe response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around catastrophe response that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in catastrophe response. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
