Senior UX Designer - design systems (remote)

Greenridge Ember Financial provides savings, lending and payment services from Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on design systems. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around loan applications that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in loan applications. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
