Senior UX Designer - design systems (Philadelphia, PA)

Northwind Wilder Markets serves neighbourhoods around Philadelphia with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around pricing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in pricing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Philadelphia. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
