Senior UX Designer - design systems (Philadelphia, PA)

Silverline Iron Insurance is an insurance company in Philadelphia with claims and service teams. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 447 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around claims that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in claims. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
