Senior UX Designer - design systems (Oklahoma City, OK)

Rivermark Birch Arts Center is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for exhibitions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 309 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around exhibitions that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in exhibitions. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
