Senior UX Designer - design systems (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Bright Markets and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around supplier deliveries that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in supplier deliveries. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
