Senior UX Designer - design systems (Memphis, TN)

Amberfield Nest Community Partners is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for food distribution, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in food distribution. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
