Senior UX Designer - design systems (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Summit Ridge Insurance Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in policy renewals. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
