Senior UX Designer - design systems (Jackson, MS)

Ironwood Corner Markets serves neighbourhoods around Jackson with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 163 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in store inventory. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
