Senior UX Designer - design systems (Jackson, MS)

Bright Loom Learning Group is an education provider in Jackson serving students and families, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around student accounts that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in student accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
