Senior UX Designer - design systems (Indianapolis, IN)

Amberfield Harbor Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Indianapolis working with agencies and riders, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of about 228 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in survey data. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
