Senior UX Designer - design systems (Indianapolis, IN)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Wren Arts Center and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around event logistics that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in event logistics. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
