Senior UX Designer - design systems (Hartford, CT)

Westbrook Bright Press is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for print quotes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 103 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around print quotes that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in print quotes. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
