Senior UX Designer - design systems (Grand Rapids, MI)

Greenridge Pike Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for attendance records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 921 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
