Senior UX Designer - design systems (Fort Worth, TX)

Summit North Medical designs and makes medical devices in Fort Worth, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in training materials. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
