Senior UX Designer - design systems (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Thistle Medical and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 18 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around training materials that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in training materials. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
