Senior UX Designer - design systems (Chicago, IL)

Greenridge Willow Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Chicago. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in device records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
