Senior UX Designer - design systems (Charleston, SC)

Greenridge Iron Markets serves neighbourhoods around Charleston with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around store inventory that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
