Senior UX Designer - design systems (Charleston, SC)

Greenridge Iron Community Partners is a nonprofit in Charleston supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in food distribution. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
