Senior UX Designer - design systems (Boston, MA)

Highbridge Sparrow Transit Planning is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for accessibility audits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 383 people based in Boston. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in accessibility audits. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
