Senior UX Designer - design systems (Boise, ID)

Northwind Sparrow Transit Planning is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around route schedules that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in route schedules. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
