Senior UX Designer - design systems (Boise, ID)

Ironwood Press produces print and digital publications in Boise. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on design systems. We like people who notice details. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around proofing that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
