Senior UX Designer - design systems (Boise, ID)

Fernwood Kestrel Press is a printer and publisher in Boise serving local and national clients, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Boise. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around proofing that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in proofing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Boise. • We reply to every applicant.
