Senior UX Designer - design systems (Baltimore, MD)

Cedar Field Markets is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around supplier deliveries that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
