Senior UX Designer - design systems (Austin, TX)

Northwind Quarry Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Austin. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on design systems. You would join a small organisation of about 38 people based in Austin. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around branch operations that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in branch operations. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin. • We reply to every applicant.
