Senior UX Designer - design systems (Austin, TX)

Cedar Markets is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for online orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
